The Gospel is a message worthy and, indeed, necessary for every single person on earth. In this post-modern world, more than ever, people need to hear the Christian message lovingly and without any stumbling blocks. As the Apostle Paul tells us, we should do everything not for our own "advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved" (1 Cor 10.33 ESV).
It is in this vein that we urge our brothers and sisters in Christ to boycott the following organizations which are using unsolicited e-mail to purvey ostensibly Christian messages. These are serious stumbling blocks, hated by virtually all users of the Internet, Christian and non-Christian alike. A Christian organization using spam today is much like a Christian eating meat sacrificed to idols in Paul's time: a bad witness. It is a bad witness not only to other believers but to seekers of the truth who are investigating how Christians act. Sending spam is a failure to tell the Gospel in love.
"Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved. Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ." -- 1 Cor. 10.32-11.1
TellItinLove.com only accepts abuse reports concerning unsolicited e-mail sent from organizations purporting to be Christian. If you have received an unsolicited e-mail from such an organization, please fill out an abuse report form. We will not release personally identifiable information about those who have reported spam to us.
Organizations included on this list may fill out a removal request form to inquire about their inclusion on this list. Because we keep the identities of those who report spam to us confidential, organizations listed must truly cease and desist spamming tactics, removing all unsolicited e-mail addresses from their lists to be removed from this list. Organizations reported to be participating in e-mail abuse will remain on this list until the organization reports it has ceased to send unsolicited e-mail to us and has no further reports received by TellItinLove.com for two cycles of the organization's periodic mailings or one year, whichever is shorter. Repeat offenders will need to fulfill further benchmarks to be removed.

Issue Reported: The AFA was reported as sending unsolicited copies of its Action Alert and OneNewsNow services, apparently by harvesting e-mail addresses by guessing administrative contacts of domain names. The report(s) filed against the AFA concerned e-mail sent to an address the recipient does not provide and could only have been added via an e-mail harvester.
Explanation from Organization: The AFA alleges it has been subject to an attack by a third party, that party having subscribed various addresses to the AFA newsletters for the purpose of causing the AFA to be blacklisted on RBLs.
Proposed Resolution: The AFA has promised to implement double opt-in procedures requiring new subscribers to verify their e-mail addresses before receiving any subscription material. TIIL will consider the AFA to have satisfactorily resolved this incident once verification procedures have been implemented.
